Who Is My Neighbor?

Sometimes, your neighbor is NOT the stranger you see beaten on the side of the road who you help.

Sometimes your neighbor is actually your neighbor who locked themselves out of their car and their apartment. So you feed them, as they haven't eaten all day, give them a place to crash until AAA shows up and give them a sympathetic ear as they pour out their woes, because locking themselves out was just an end to an already horrible day.

I am not trying to toot my own horn here. Just reminding everyone that we ALL are going to be someone's neighbor at some point in our lives.

I remember reading in a parenting book a few years back that for many Christians, the sheep in Matthew 25 will fulfill much of their duties right in their own home - feeding hungry people, clothing their family, serving the sick.
